This week I fell deep down the astrology rabbit hole, and now I HAVE to share!
Why? Because something HUGE is happening in the cosmos that's going to impact us all for the next 20 years.
Yep, 2-0.
On November 19th, Pluto enters back into Aquarius, where it'll stay until 2043.
So, why does this matter? Wellll... let’s just say, Pluto isn’t one to let us off easy.
Known as the planet of death, rebirth, and transformation, Pluto comes in to expose and destroy whatever isn’t working in order to create space for what’s next—whether we’re ready for it or not.
It’s giving “let go and evolve or resist and be dragged” 💁🏻♀️ (I recommend you go with the first option!)
So, what happens when Pluto, the planet of deep transformation, enters Aquarius—the sign of technology, innovation, freedom and collective progress?
Here’s a little taste of what went down last time:
The American Revolution → The colonies fought for independence and laid the foundations for a society that claimed to value equality and individual rights.
The French Revolution → This uprising sparked a radical shift, overthrowing a monarchy in pursuit of “liberty, equality, fraternity”—a theme that resonates with Aquarius’ humanitarian ideals.
The Industrial Revolution → This era marked the dawn of massive technological change as handmade goods gave way to machines, forever changing how we live, work and consume.
Noticing a theme, here? Each of these events marked a dramatic shift, tearing down old systems and building entirely new frameworks for society, aka a REVOLUTION.
Sooo… yeah, if history is any indicator, Pluto in Aquarius is kind of a big deal. 😅
What can we expect as we usher in this new era, and what does this mean for YOU specifically?
That’s what we’ll be exploring in the rest of this email! 👇
WHERE WE'VE BEEN
To understand where we’re headed, let’s take a look at where we’ve been.
Since 2008, Pluto’s been moving through Capricorn—the sign that governs structures, authority, government, patriarchy, banking, and big business.
Pluto in Capricorn has exposed cracks in the foundations of our society, revealing the unsustainable practices, abuses of power, and exploitation within the institutions we rely on. For example:
The 2008 Financial Crisis → Right at the start of Pluto’s journey in Capricorn, the world saw a collapse in the financial sector, leading to bank bailouts, economic turmoil, and a complete reevaluation of global finance systems.
The Rise of #MeToo → Over the past decade, movements like #MeToo have shone a spotlight on toxic patriarchy, demanding accountability from “untouchable” leaders across politics, business, and media including Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein, Bill Cosby, R. Kelly, Kevin Spacey and most recently, P. Diddy.
Political Polarization and Power Shifts → This era also brought the election of both the first Black American president, Barack Obama, and later Donald Trump, each representing a major shift in societal values and highlighting deep divides in American society, a trend that echoed around the globe.
As Pluto wraps up its journey through Capricorn, we’re left with a clearer view of where these old structures are failing us, exposing the consequences of a “me-first” mentality that benefits the few at the expense of the many. Where do we go from here?
Lucky for us, the cosmos has a plan. 👀
WHERE WE'RE GOING
With Pluto moving into Aquarius, we’re stepping into a whole new ✨energy✨.
Aquarius is all about challenging the status quo, questioning outdated norms, and creating fresh approaches for the benefit of humanity.
If Pluto in Capricorn was about showing us what’s broken, Pluto in Aquarius brings major visionary vibes, asking: What can we build instead?
What does this transit have in store for us over the next 20 years? Here are a few themes we’ll likely see:
A Shift from “Me” to “We” → Aquarius brings a powerful humanitarian energy, pushing us away from individualism toward a more collective mindset. This era will invite (and maybe even force) us to rethink the systems that have failed us, guiding us toward a vision of equality and shared progress.
Power to the People → With Capricorn’s top-down, hierarchical structures giving way to Aquarius’s influence, we’re likely to see power shifting into the hands of the people. Decentralized systems (think cryptocurrency and grassroots organizing) could challenge traditional structures of control, empowering communities to drive change from the ground up.
Techin’ it to the Next Level → Aquarius rules over technology and innovation, so get ready for a surge of scientific advancements that totally redefine how we live, work, and play—think AI, space travel, and medical advances we could've previously only dreamed of. But as tech evolves, Pluto in Aquarius will also challenge us to ask whether these breakthroughs are truly bringing us together or just driving us further apart, inviting us to rethink tech’s role in building a more connected, inclusive society.
As all of these shifts unfold on the global stage, Pluto’s energy will also get personal.
